The Seward district (fig. 10) is the area drained by streams flowing into Resurrection Bay and Blying Sound from Callisto Head on the west to Cape Junken on the east. Although a few nonproductive gold lodes and several occurrences of copper minerals have been reported, no placer deposits have been found in the district. |
